Smiles and Spell Check

Everyone-

This was a fantastic experience I immensely enjoyed from working one on one with the graduates, to the professional team attitude of the ON|line Magazine staff, to the wonderful chance to work with the Westwood Instructors on a project outside the classroom.

I enjoyed watching the spreads grow from concept to finished published creation, I am now a true die hard fan of all your work, and would love to stay in touch via Incircle, I will be looking for your names in the credits of up coming video games.

My advice to any future participating graduates or future staff members come prepared…bring lots of smiles…caffeine is not negotiable….and spell check! Lol

I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything in the world and this is just another example of the level of commitment Westwood has for its Online Student Body.

We are LIVE, please comment :)

Setting forth on a journey to become the first magazine of its kind we are proud to announce that we have gone LIVE. Does anyone have comments on the Premiere Issue of Design|Online magazine? You can access it by clicking on the cover design to the left designed by our very own graduate, Bobbi Downs.
Kudos from me to everyone that had that a hand, or a mouse, in the production. You all did a fantastic job and I am pleased to be a small of part it.

With the constant flow of creativity and caffeine..

We have accomplished great things with the Premiere issue of the WOL DESIGNONLINE Magazine.

It has been my pleasure and an honor to work side by side with some of the greatest talent that Westwood has graduating this term. Through this incredible journey I have learned something from each and everyone of you as I have watched your spreads grow into beautiful masterpieces.

Thank You John and Cass for allowing me to participate in such an incredible project, it has truly been an honor.

Thank you all for a wonderful and inspiring term!

This was a very inspirational experience working with all of the graduates on this publication. Watching the process of the rework and the layouts go from simple word documents to grand magazine spreads in such a short time certainly took my breath away. I have also come to make many new friends that are sure to make a grand entrance into their new careers. I cannot say how proud I am of all the Creative Directors who helped keep everyone within the deadline restrictions and the style guidelines, WOW what a lot of work, but you did it! I am certainly proud of what has come of our PREMIERE issue of Westwood Online, DesignOnline Magazine! Way to go Graduates of May 2008!!!!
